I take so much pleasure in being able to create deeply important and personal jewelry for my clients. I’m best known for the ‘memento’ locket, or what I refer to as ‘reliquary.’ This is a rebirth of an age-old tradition in jewelry.

I have made countless lockets with significant elements preserved for the heirloom treasure. These have ranged from a beloved pet’s fur to baby’s first lock of hair wrapped in gold wire. Including all manner of sentiment, whatever one’s imagination desires.

One of the most requested is that of the Mother’s Locket. It is usually filled with both the baby’s birthstones as well as the mama’s, a hand wrought gold letter for the baby’s name, the first tooth, and hair wrapped in gold wire. The customized options are plenty, including rings for commitment, lockets for memorialization or honoring birth and life.
